On the evening of Friday, February 4, 2022, an LPSO Deputy stopped a vehicle on US Highway 165 in Tullos, for improper lane usage. The Deputy identified the driver as Deborah Carraway, 51, of Olla. Carraway told the Deputy that she was swerving due to holding a dog. 

While speaking with Carraway, the Deputy was given consent to search the vehicle after observing her appearance of being nervous. During the search the Deputy located a digital scale inside a makeup bag, along with a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine found inside her drink.

Carraway was arrested and transported to the LPSO Jail where she was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and improper lane usage.
