On Sunday March 6, 2022, an LPSO K-9 Deputy stopped a vehicle on LA Highway 125 in Olla, after observing an equipment violation.  The Deputy spoke to the driver, along with passenger identified as Peggy Jones, 30, of Tullos.
 
After speaking with the driver, the Deputy received consent to search the vehicle. During a hand search the Deputy located suspected methamphetamine and marijuana inside of a purse on the passenger side belonging to Peggy Jones. 

Jones was arrested and transported to the LPSO Jail where she was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine and possession of CDS I marijuana.
