Olla Man Faces Drug Charges

On Sunday, May 23, 2021, an LPSO Deputy stopped a vehicle on Highway 165 in Olla, after observing a traffic violation. The driver was identified as Andrew Wardlow, 36, of Olla. When Wardlow was asked for his driver's license, he stated that he did not have one.
 
Due to the actions of Wardlow, the Deputy asked him to exit the vehicle, as Wardlow exited he placed something inside his mouth. When asked what he put inside his mouth, Wardlow removed a small clear zip lock baggy containing suspected methamphetamine. Wardlow was placed under arrest and transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail.

Andrew Wardlow was booked on charges of running a stop sign, driving under suspension, possession of CDS II methamphetamine, and obstruction of justice.
