On the evening of Tuesday, June 8, 2021, an LPSO K-9 deputy stopped a vehicle on Magnolia Loop after observing a violation. The driver was identified as Carlton Hall, 55, of Pollock. A check of Hall’s driver's license revealed that he was driving under suspension, and he was asked to exit the vehicle.

As Hall exited, he threw an object toward the tree line. The item was found to contain a small baggie of suspected methamphetamine. Hall was arrested and transported to the LaSalle Parish Jail where he was booked on charges of possession of CDS II methamphetamine and driving under suspension.
